How It Works

Five steps from first call to monthly support.

1

Schedule a Success Call

Meet with Sarah to confirm Ideal Homeschool is the right fit for your family. Mention that you plan to use Step Up (PEP or UA) so we set up the scholarship enrollment path.

2

Confirm fit & program

We’ll review fit together before moving forward. Scholarship families follow Step Up enrollment steps instead of paying by card on our website.

3

Reserve funds in Step Up EMA

Parents log into EMA, find Ideal Homeschool in the Marketplace, and reserve monthly scholarship funds for our Choice Navigator membership.

4

Begin your program

Once your reservation is complete, you’ll get access to your Ideal Homeschool community, courses, and support rhythm for your program level.

5

We handle billing through EMA

After services each month, Ideal Homeschool submits the invoice in the Step Up EMA Provider Portal. Step Up pays us directly from your reserved funds. Parents do not pay Ideal Homeschool separately for those months.

Marketplace Reservation

How to reserve monthly funds in EMA.

Ideal Homeschool operates as a monthly Choice Navigator service. Families reserve funds each month for uninterrupted support.

  1. Log into EMA Open your Step Up For Students EMA (Education Market Assistant) account.
  2. Go to the Marketplace Navigate to Marketplace → Search Providers.
  3. Find Ideal Homeschool Search for Ideal Homeschool.
  4. Select your monthly membership Choose the Ideal Homeschool listing that matches your program: Ideal Homeschool Starter, Ideal Homeschool Family, or Ideal Homeschool Elite.
  5. Reserve this month’s funds Complete the reservation for the current month so program access can begin (or continue) without interruption.

Near the end of each month, we may send a reminder to reserve next month’s Choice Navigator service so membership stays continuous.
